Magnetic flux leakage testing is a very important nondestructive testing method and it is widely used. When used in combination with other methods, it can provide fast and inexpensive evaluation of work-pieces of ferromagnetic materials. With the advancement of technology, people are paying more and more attention to the automation of the detection process. It does not only reduce the labor intensity of the inspection work, but also improves the reliability of the testing results and reduces the influence of human factors. Magnetic flux leakage testing equipment is applicable to flaw detection at horizontal and vertical direction in pipes such as petroleum pipes, petrochemical pipes, and boiler pipes.
